Why should I dump Internet Explorer

Everybody's down on the Windows Internet Explorer these days (nobody more than me), but an article @ ZDnet caught my eye today. Adrian Kingsley-Hughes wrote a decent piece about you people who need to get off your mouse and get with the times already, but I was more impressed with part of the sidenote he included:

My personal feeling is that people are safer if they move away from IE and adopt another browser (my favorite is Google’s Chrome, which is sandboxed from the system, making it harder for hackers to get a foothold). But that said, browsers are a personal thing, and there’s no point trying to force people to change. My goal is to make people safer, not push an ideology!

This is such an important point. So many people completely miss the notion that while I may be a pushy broad, I really don't care if you suffer the internet with a crappy, slow, vunerable web-browser or not. It's your time, waste it how you like. :)
